Fondazione IDIS – Citta della Scienza

Fondazione Idis-Citta della Scienza is a non profit organization that boasts a number of scientific collaborations with major museums and scientific institutions in Europe and worldwide.  Since 1987 the organisation is dedicated to the dissemination of scientific and technological culture, as well as to the innovation of the educational and business system, and of society as a whole. Active in the local, Italian and international landscape, CdS combines the Science Centre, the Business Innovation Centre, the Advanced Training Center, the Digital Research for Emerging Advanced Manufacturing, a Fab Lab for advanced design and digital fabrication; the Knowledge-Based Business Area a post incubation area with more than 20 SMEs and a Conference Centre. CdS opened in 2017 Corporea, a space dedicated to the human body and health sciences. It is recognized as NGO in Official Relations with UNESCO and promotes science communication projects with different regions of the world.  Since many years it implements at the local level socio-cultural projects and educational activities with the partnership of local institutions, associations and NGOs to favor social inclusion processes of disadvantaged target groups.
